The North Shore Water Utility will be conducting a distribution system flush to prevent sediment buildup and to help maintain water quality.
Note that while service will not be interrupted, there is potential for elevated turbidity or cloudiness if you use water during the routine maintenance.
Flushing will take place August 17th until 4:00 and may continue on August 18th. Please restrict your water usage during this time.
Should you experience cloudiness, run your cold-water taps until the water runs clear after 4:00 pm.

Effective Immediately, the North Shore Water Utility has rescinded the Water Quality Advisory issued on March 19, 2026.
Ongoing, routine testing demonstrates that water quality is within the Canadian Drinking Water Guidelines with turbidity consistently below 1 NTU.

The NSWU has issued a Water Quality Advisory as a precautionary measure due to increased turbidity as a result of snow melt and precipitation. THIS IS NOT A BOIL WATER ADVISORY. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BOIL YOUR WATER UNLESS YOU HAVE A COMPROMISED IMMUNE SYSTEM. Customers will be notified when the water quality returns within operating tolerances and this advisory is rescinded.
